With You Forever

Opposites attract in this heartfelt, modern marriage-of-convenience romance about finding love—and home—in the most unlikely of places.

Rooney Sullivan is sunshine incarnate and the antithesis of quiet, reserved Axel. He’s been able to hide his attraction to her until a party game gets out of hand and ends in an unexpected kiss. Months later, Rooney’s staying just next door to him for a cozy A-frame getaway and temptingly within reach.

Axel, the eldest Bergman brother, is a gorgeous grump and Rooney’s longtime crush. Their kiss was an accident, and months later, so is stumbling into him at the Bergman family’s property. Rooney’s sure her feelings are unrequited, thanks to the distance Axel keeps, so she keeps her attraction to herself.

But when Axel and Rooney unexpectedly find their paths—and problems—converging, marriage proves the perfect solution. At least, until they face a new dilemma: a marriage of convenience that’s inconveniently become a love match, after all.

The Review

Hello Book friends!

Today I’m reviewing With You Forever by Chloe Liese, the fourth book in the Bergman Brothers series. In this fourth book we follow the eldest Bergman brother an artist and recluse and Rooney Sullivan the exact opposite of Axel Bergman, she’s sunshine to his grump, when their paths meet they find a proposition they both can’t resist.

Okay, first, let’s talk about the revamped covers of the Bergman Brother series?!?!

Aren’t the gorgeous?!?! I love the new illustrated characters, the backdrops that match perfectly with the story, and the color scheme is stunning.

It’s truly chef’s kiss. 👨‍🍳🍳😘👌💋

Now, let’s chat about the book itself. I am a huge fan of Liese’s. After reading Two Wrongs Make a Right I wanted to get my hands on everything she’s written and when I had the opportunity to read the new editions of her Bergman series (including additional content), I raised my hand and my answer was, yes please.

What I love most about Liese’s writing is how she creates these vivid characters who leap off the page with complexities we see in ourselves and the people we love. And as someone who has two kiddos with ADHD, it’s always refreshing when an author takes the time to include characters who aren’t just neurotypical, cis gender, and who don’t face any type of medical challenges. You’ll see what I mean when you pick this one up. 😉

With You Forever checks all the boxes of marriage-of-convenience, grumpy + sunshine, opposites attract, romance readers will be hooked by these two unlikely characters who never imagined something resembling forever.

Happy Reading ~ Cece
